Introduction to Effective Discipline

Supervisors have the responsibility to train, coach, provide performance feedback and, when necessary, administer discipline. The goal of effective discipline is to appropriately address performance issues and workplace behavioral problems so employees understand what is necessary to achieve satisfactory levels of performance.
